
As the Hospitality Industry faces growing challenges related to sustainability, the future of travel, tourism, and Hospitality must be built on principles of environmental, economic, and social responsibility. Sustainable practices are no longer just a trend; they are an essential part of the Industry’s evolution. The Sustainability in Hospitality Contest invites students in Hospitality and Culinary Arts programs from around the world to harness their creativity and innovative thinking to design sustainable solutions that actively integrate sustainability into the guest experience and foster the long-term adoption of sustainable behaviours in the Hospitality sector.
Through this competition, we aim to empower students to drive the change needed in Hospitality and create practical solutions that can make a tangible difference.
To participate in the Sustainability in Hospitality Contest, students must submit a detailed written proposal (PDF format) outlining their innovative solution, as well as supporting materials such as visuals (mock-ups, diagrams, or videos) that demonstrate the solution in action. These visuals help to bring your concept to life and better showcase its potential, they must be sent via WeTransfer.
Winners will get the chance to present their ideas to a panel of experts and receive exclusive feedback. They will also be awarded valuable prizes and certificates of recognition. It’s an incredible opportunity for students to unleash their creativity, bring their ideas to life, engage with Industry professionals, and be a part of the movement toward sustainable change in Hospitality.
