ABOUT DUSIT THANI COLLEGE

Thailand is one of the most popular tourism destinations in the world, and the hospitality industry is one of the nation’s largest industries. As the industry grows, the demand for a qualified and skilled workforce increases, along with the number of high-level careers and jobs available. The sector is broad and varied, requiring diverse skill sets in a range of roles in hotels and resorts, spas, MICE and events, restaurants, airlines, and other industries.

Dusit Thani College (DTC) was established to meet the demand for well-trained professionals and is a private educational institution specializing in tourism and hospitality management.

The college offers three bachelor’s degree programs in the Thai language in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management, and Service Innovation in Tourism Industry, along with a Master of Business Administration. English language bachelor’s degree programs are offered in Hotel and Resort Management, and Professional Culinary Arts. In addition, numbers of specialized short courses are also available.

DTC’s programs are recognized nationally and internationally. The college works in collaboration with the Department of Skill Development at Thailand’s Ministry of Labor, and with the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute.

DTC has its main campus in Bangkok, in the Srinakarin district on the eastern side of the city, adjacent to the Dusit Princess Srinakarin Hotel, where students are able to undertake practical aspects of their training and Work Integrated Learning Program. A second campus was opened in 2011 at Pattaya, one of Thailand’s premier tourism resorts, located less than two hours away from Bangkok.
